There’s a great deal of misunderstanding about true repentance. In this message we will look at the Biblical meaning and its significance for our eternal salvation.
Mission statements help organizations focus on a goal. NASA’s mission statement was Kennedy’s dream of landing a man on the moon before the end of that decade, and they did. Jesus’ mission for us is to save souls. What is your mission?
When we become a child of God, the Lord gives us a mission: reach the lost and help other Christians to remain faithful. We will try to make this message as clear as possible.
We are told to have Christ’s attitude. His attitude was seen in every situation. In our mortal nature we all struggle to have a Christlike attitude. We must aspire to correct attitudes that harm rather than help in every situation.
Are the supporting arguments that defend the use instruments in worship sufficient to justify its use? We will learn that an unbiased look at these arguments are not good enough to justify its use.
Are we given liberty to worship the Lord as we please? By what authority do we have to sing with musical instruments? We will show that this is not an oddity, but a matter of conviction based upon what God has authorized.
Singing is the fifth and final action in worship. Does the New Testament authorize singing in worship? Does the Lord limit singing to vocal music only in worship or does He approve the use of instruments? Does it even matter? We will present two lessons on the subject.
Is preaching a part of the worship service? Our singing and praying involve worship so why not preaching? Paul describes his preaching with worship language. Let’s look at this closely.
Churches from many different fellowships are closing their doors. How do we stop this “epidemic”? It’s not as difficult as it seems. It begins with each member doing their best to do what the Lord expects. Let’s explore this together.
